Susan Ratliff speaks from personal
experience. She knows the exhibit industry intimately
because she started out in the trenches as an
exhibitor herself, selling personalized children’s
books at swap meets and craft fairs. In 1992 she
started her own display company. As President of the
award-winning Exhibit Experts, she discovered the
shortcuts to exhibit marketing success and made the
mistakes so her clients don’t have to.
Susan is a nationally recognized authority on booth
selling skills and display design and has over 30
years in sales and marketing. She is frequently quoted
in the press, regularly writes articles for industry
publications and is the author of four books including
her latest: “Exhibit
Like an Expert, Sell More, Look Great & Make Money at
Tradeshows, Consumer Shows and Events.”.

In 2004, Susan organized,
financed and produced the first
Women Entrepreneurs’ Small Business Boot Camp.
Her inspiration for this event was fueled by her
desire to celebrate the successes and accomplishments
of the women micro-business owners in her community
whose companies thrive with less than ten employees.
Her goal was to showcase local business experts who
would teach no-nonsense, practical, tips and
techniques that could be easily and immediately
implemented to improve and grow a business. This
annual event draws over 300 attendees in Arizona and
will be expanding into other cities across the
country.
She’s a radio celebrity
too. Every Friday morning at 9am, Susan co-hosts a
lively, one hour radio talk show called the
Small
Business Power Hour. As two of the Valley’s most
respected and accomplished entrepreneurs, she and her
broadcast partner Eileen Proctor share their years of
award-winning business building strategies to help
small business owners get to that next level of
success.
